I just met a woman who knows what she wants and we are going out this week for the first time. I have just recently been seperated and will be divirced shortly. She is looking for a long term as I am, but she seems to be looking for a quick marriage and as much as I love being married, I have explained it takes time and specific questions need to be answered from both sides prior. What do you all think????angel

Love can't be rushed, when it's time, it's time, and you'll know it.

HOLY COW... If she cannot 'slow' it down a notch, then I'd move on... If she's that 'desperate' to get married, then that sounds like trouble to me! What ever happened to getting to know someone. Heck, yer not even divorced yet! JEEZ!!!

jaw drop

My standard is pretty simple.

I'm open to an early 'engagement' if the woman needs to have an early 'commitment'

But my rule for marriage is quite simple. Let's live together for one full year (through all 4 seasons), then if we're still interested in long-term after that than sure, why not?

So early engagement is fine with me. Early marriage is totally out of the question.
