"Thank you" as an end of discussion. You should read it all. Read when u called me silly because i didnt agree with the law.

This is a forum, where we express our thoughts. No matter which legislation there is about a certain issue.

I DONT AGREE ON BANNING FREE HAND MOBILE PHONES IN CARES.

And i'm silly because there is a law that passed on it?
Everyone knows it has passed. but still I DONT AGREE.

Yes, laws must be respected, but still...I DONT AGREE! You cant do anything about that...ok? Stop calling people silly because they have other points of view.

very good smoky how did the move go all ok ... fools rush in where angels fear to tread but to bear false witness is more evil ..a law can be bent but not broken and laws sometimes may appear foolish but are accepted as saving lives later have a good eveningwine drinking cheers

Not sure about this either, hands free chatting is no different to talking to someone in the car or even singing to your self. Think laws can & in some places do go over the top. They may save a few lives but many millions died during two world wars fighting for a certain level of freedom. Even the Police are chatting constantly on radios while driving above the speed limit. Feel its a natural emotion for most to fight oppression & some laws seem like that.

Anyone else out there feel a bit oppressed?

Wedward, I didn't name you as being rude or disprepectful. Please don't think I aimed that at you. I was just reminding some people on here about playing nice.

I totaly agree about your points of view. I myself was hit head on by a drunk driver and it took me over 18 months to learn how to walk again without any walking aids. So "YES" I do see your point of being safe while driving but some laws do get out of control and become stupid, insane, crazy and so on.

There is a time and a place to use your cell phone. Who ever said there should be a pull off lane for cell phone use has a really great idea and should pitch it to their government body. I personaly do not answer my phone while I'm driving. I have a infant in the car with me so I take extra care in my driving but with my daughter crying I sometimes have to make a quik head turn to see that she is ok still. But I try to do it at a stop light.

So my point is this, (I know it took forever to get here) No matter what we do or say, we all know that we must always drive safe and understand that YOU know what your doing but the guy in the next lane has no clue on what he's doing so be careful and remember to get an oil change every 30,000 miles. peace

I love all the laws. There are good reasons for them. If you obey them you are fairly safe.

Behind the scenes a lot of work goes on trying to keep motorists from killing each other.

People crash their cars while fiddling with their radios, never mind talking to kids in the back seat!

There are too many motorists on the roads now, to be able to take it for granted that loved ones will travel safely.

Here in Switzerland the roads are extremely narrow and take all ones concentration just to keep ones side mirrors from being taken off by oncoming traffic! Talking on a mobile phone is a fine of Sf200.

One takes a Voice Message, then you find a safe place to pull over and attend to the phonecall.

My one son was a ParaMedic, and was sickened at the Road Carnage due to irresponsible driving. The gap between Life/Death/Permanent Disability..... is a couple millimetres, or seconds.
