For some it is a VERY short trip.
I think our main question was whether we existed before our birth or not. If we believe in our presence ( somewhere ) then the whole perspective is changed. Are we at the stage to conclude our discussion and who can present the best conclusion about our existance before our birth?

There are stories in newspapers that a child 2-3 yrs old is able to recite the whole bible/Quran. Another one tells about a child when he/she visited a foreign land... and suddenly remembers everything about that place like he/she was living there for years. Also, there are numerous movies which show such stories.
These are very rare... may be 1 in a billion, so it can be used either way to support the belief of rebirth or to junk it.
I would personally like everyone to believe in re-birth. This makes people love and respect their soul, do the same for other souls and they will lead a quality life and the society and world will become more peaceful and divine.
All the religions teach you to live a good life, love yourself and others. If you understand that, you don't have to worry about past and future births and live a good life in this (only) birth.

mak religion is not the issue the issue is very basic it is the issue of mankind on this planet and we r the youngest objects of lif e on the planet yet feel we r superior beings on this planet we r the most destructive of all creatures on this planet and u argue about a little thing that happens between birth and death please grow up and get real and iam a real twice goodnight
