I've been thinking about getting bangs .. LOL ..

Not sure if I should or not..worried it will close off my face..

Just wanted to share..I am sure some of you will be thrilled to hear that I am back to school on Monday..so my delightful presence will not be as prominent on the forums crying

Not to worry though..am finished school for the year in April applause

Banging is in....go for it!! banana

Just kidding...I think bangs soften up your face...my pic is my last hairstyle...I'm currently sporting longer bangs and love it!!

If you go shorter, go wispy and that will prevent that 'closed in' look IMO!

Just my two cents!!

Good luck at getting back to school!! yay

I don't think that you should get bangs. My hairdresser said once (about my daughter) that with a face as beautiful as hers, why am i covering it up...So the same goes with you, you have a very beautiful face and I don't think that you need to cover it up with bangs...Just my opinion though..

Nice to meet you MissJ!!! And good for you on the school thing. I have actually made a decision today to go back to school to. So I will be registering in May for American Sign Language and back to school in September!!!! I am sooo excited and scared at the same time.yay help dunno cheers

Nice to meet you Lynx handshake :)

Thank you very much for the compliment.. I am still considering bangs..I'm going to talk to my hairstylist tomorrow..but I appreciate the advice and the sweet words. I love your hair by the way..beautiful natural curl. I too have curly hair..and play with it sometimes by straightening it..but I have grown to love my curls :)
I think your curls enhance your natural beauty.

Thank you for the support regarding school. cheering

I wish you lot's of luck with your schooling!!..When I went back a few years ago, I was terrified as well..but excited..I wish you nothing but luck :) Keep me posted yay

Thanks for the compliments on the hair!!! I personally wish I had straight hair, but I tried that once and it defintely didn't work out for the better. Definitely listen to what the hair dresser recommends because I went against them a few times and omg, lets just say some of them know what they are saying....aahhh memories...

I will definitely keep everyone updated on my school dreams.

Keep up the good work with the school, you are almost done!!! Awesome!!!applause banana

may as well put me in the gutter with the rest of you.....lol

Bangs or not - first question is how often you plan to be in for cuts? If not frequently then does this work with how quickly your hair grows out? Bangs can be nice but they can be a pain (particularly because I wear glasses to work) if you're not prepared to maintain them.

I have short hair - not a big difference for me - if they get too long I brush them back - later in the day (or after a 12 hour shift) I notice I have bangs again...lol

Just a suggestion - go in a few minutes early for your next appointment - sit down with your hairdresser - most of them know their stuff and can give you honest feedback for what would suit your face shape and your lifestyle. Go with what they tell you. They can be pretty clear on 'bangs or no bangs'.
