How many of you out there honestly fear death? Why? Not to bring up something negative, but we all know we are going to go someday, so why is this such a big fear? If you were going to go, any special last requests?

---- Angel of Death (I am watching you) grin angel

No but seriously, answer the question.

Life is a cycle and part of that cycle is death, regardless of what we are or do, someday we are going to die, so there is no reason to fear death.
I wouldn't like people cry for my death.

I have no fear of death, and what awaits me...I am not trying to bring it any closer, than when it is supposed to be, though.

Any special requests????

Dance on my grave, and celebrate life, have a feast and a celebration, laughter, and singing and kick off your shoes...make jokes about me, laugh at my expense...

I just want to be sure I have all paperwork in order.
Still working on that, should not be too much longer.

I am afraid to leave before my kids are ready to be on their own.

I'm not afraid to die, but how it is going to happen is another thing to ponder. Always thought I would be murdered ! Don't know why....

I am going to try to answer this honestly without sounding like a nut case. (Pretty hard.)

I am not afraid to die. I sometimes fear I might die before my children are ready to lose me, though. I am scared of not being remembered -- not in the short term but 100 years from now, there will be no thought of most us what-so-ever. This is a foreign hard to grasp thought for me.

death is a gift I await with anticipation.

No afterlife, no hauntings. And please make it quick and snappy.

I wish we had the right to end our own lives with Doctors help.

My stepfather would take advantage of it. His quality of life has completely gone. He gets to watch life through a window now. And each day is pain and mental stress.
