Some of you may remember that a while back there was much debate as to whether a Jaffa Cake was a biscuit or a cake. After much deliberation, it was categorically specified as a "cake"!!! Why??? Can anyone tell me what determines a biscuit from a cake??? Let's see who gets it first.........?? Anyone?? dunno

Well, hello and welcome!wave

Yes, there was much debate over whether the Jaffa Cake constituted a "cake" and therefore was able to be called a Jaffa "Cake" but as you find, a Jaffa Cake will go hard when stale, so its a cake!! And so they were able to keep the name!thumbs up

Well, thank you for your positive response to my thread, a most worthy and valuable contribution indeed!!!!.... NOT!! thumbs down

If you were not the least bit interested in the topic, you don't have to give your input, you can just leave the thread alone, so why such a comment??? scold Completely unwarranted!!

I just thought that with there being so many dreary and old threads going round and round and round.......yawn I would just try and inject a little frivolity via a "puzzler" type thread. I was hoping it would be considered a little refreshing?? It has been made clear what some think of my efforts and, of course, I am bound to be disappointed. moping

Okay, I'm off to Int's........ ciao!!! ------------------>
