Well, even if the poem was about you, which is wasn't, the woman referred to in the poem was a fox and she rejected me. So how could that even be considered to be at your "expense"? There wasn't anything derogatory about the woman in the poem at all. It was about a foxy woman who rejected a guy for having delusions. What's derogatory about that???
It was entirely light-hearted fun not intended to be at anyone's "expense" except perhaps the author of the poem and it does indeed appear to have been quite expensive for him. (ha ha)
