Learning to trust ourselves is the hardest part.

That little voice inside? Well God, Buddha, Krishna, Allah, whatever you care to call it, that's what that is.

Yes, you have free will. But when that voice says, "Maybe this isn't such a good idea..."

Ignore it at your peril.

I for one do not wish to take the express route to the top of the mountain.

I choose rather to explore the mountain as much as I can before I reach the summit. So I will take the long road and enjoy the journey.

I agree a bit more with the way *you* phrased it, but not at all the way the poster above did.

I believe we can live forever in the memories of are descendants if we live an admirable life in this world. We should make most of our time now instead of pondering the heavens.

My Background in Theology is that of a Pentecostal Minister, So I am in-dwelt by The Lord, and I ashure you that it dose not come from me...

Because when I speak in Toungs, I tend to speak every language on this planet perfectly, I have spoken perfect Hebrew and I never studied that,I have spoken perfect Sierian, but I never studied that,I have spoken perfect Hopi and I would not know where to study that,I have spoken perfect Manderin Chinese and I never studied that, the fact is that if I start speaking in toungs around Forigners, they tend to get rather excited and drop to their knees and start praying in a dialect that sound like what ever language that I am speaking at the time...

We call it being filled with The Holy Spirit of our Lord...

However you can also find Him Through Meditation and all life forms from other planets are Bypedle like us and allot of them are Human, they told us that they wanted us to start doing what Christ had tought us,They are Human, but they have Full Command of their faculties, meaning that they don't need cell phones, their thoughts can be known
by the person they wish to communicate with, across the room,across town,across the state, or across The Galixy and that is not all, they can apear in front of you though not even coming to this planet...

You see, they have full controle of their faculties, allot of men can't even piss in a toilet without missing...

As I have stated The Bible will give youuuu a beginning and for most that is all they ever need, but I wanted to know more...

I believe in my God and know He knows what is best for me, even though I tend to question Him from time to time. I have given my life and heart to Him and know He will guide me down the right path as long as I open my heart fully and truly listen. I also believe that when it is my time to go "home", I will go, regardless of where I am or what I do. I think that we can cause ourselves suffering (from smoking, drinking, abusive behavior, etc.), but it will be up to God when He decides it is time for us to be with Him.

I too,was raised as a Catholic. Although,I don't practice my faith,ie..go to church.I should I guess..I just don't.
As far as being born into this world with a return ticket...apparently,I was.. 'cause at times in the past(more so in my teen years),when I've "P.O.'d",my mom...she'd always tell me,"She'd punch my ticket",for me! She'd tell me,"I brought you into this world...I damn sure can take you out of it!" Moms'...ya gotta lov'em!!



Ps-There's no doubt in my mind that she couldn't,either! She may be small but, she's pretty dang tough!

She's copping out so she doesn't have to change her bad habits.

Some people of course ARE really fatalists. My mother always said"When my time comes I'll go" or "when God wants me he will call me". Dad used to tell her that she didn't need to help him along. LOL.

I too am an agnostic .....and fatalism and "God's call" both seem silly to me. That would mean that I could jump in front of a speeding car and if it "wasn't my time" I'd survive unscathed. Ridiculous!!!!

I have 'flatlined' and been resuscitated with some effort on three occasions. Once during surgery, once from accidental electrocution and once for no apparent reason other than my spirit went walkabout and forgot to leave the power on.

So I tend to believe that for each of us there is a 'time to die' and until that time is now, somehow the Universe will find a way to yank us back on line. I also feel I have a responsibility to cooperate in my survival so I exercise, eat properly and no longer smoke. It is what works for me.
