my only superstition is that I pick a penny up only if it is on it's head and say the quote "See a penny pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck." It seems ridiculous that I believe that I have had luck before from picking up a penny but even though it seems ridiculous that I make the effort to stop and check a penny to see if it is on it's head or tail and I won't pick it up on if it is on it's tail, it is habit now. And maybe it is all just my frame of mind or karma.
