not possible.
The Voltage from the Cells are Direct Current, the Network is Alternating Current.
Best thing to have two Systems in your House. An A-C System and a D-C System and use the D-C System from the Cells-Batteries for some Light-Duty APPS like Lighting, running small DC-Applications and such. Then use the AC from the Net for any High Power APPS that need AC like Fridges,Cooking and others, unless you have the opportunity to use Gas to do the Cooking

Pretty soon, I am sure, "we" will earmark a planet to send all our junk and toxic waste to.....? then we just proceed with all our toxic production ... and what we send out will be out of sight, so therefore out of mind too, like exploding atomic bombs and dumping old nucleur submarines in the oceans ..... and only far in the future will our sins come back to haunt our descendents.

Wouldn't it be nice if nothing could be manufactured with a 100% guarantee that it is totally recyclable with end of use...perhaps a space station to gather all waste and toxic materials of the Earth , then pack it and send into the Sun for total annihilation...

Back to the original thread here ..... "Unbelievers in Global warming".....

I do believe that humans are now Over the Top with earth damage, and the only thing left to do, is to do whatever we can, in whatever way we can, irrespective of how small the act is.

Like the little boy walking along the beach throwing starfish back into the surf.... He was asked if he thought he was making a difference to the starfish in the ocean? His reply "Well it made a difference to THAT starfish".. the one he was busy throwing back.

Instead of flying overseas, next time build your own raft and sail over the ocean, pollution free.

Wear all your old clothes.... till they are genuinly threadbare... when they are about to de-compose toss them into your compost heap. Ditto with your leather shoes and handbags.

Do not dye your hair with artificial dyes ... use onion juice, carrots, blackberries, and other colourful fruit and veges ..... afterwards you can drink the juice.... and be extra-super-healthy and feel virtuous too.

While you all practice the above things, I shall try and think up some more delightful ways to save the earth......If it actually needs saving. Maybe we just going thru a natural cycle, and once again we may be able to walk over to America from Europe on the "new" land-bridge...? without being pestered by things like Polar Bears...? Remember ... there used to be Mammoths? and they went the same way our Bears are going, huh?

What a most satisfying thread ..... it shoots off in all directions and offers such diverse opinions.

On an educational note here .... Europeans may think nothing of calling a man a boy, but in countries where there was colonialism, to use the term "boy" to a grownup man is to invite the direst retribution. It is a huge insult with the connotation that the person being addressed is an infantile idiot, and the person speaking is superior in status. A true gentleman of english descent would never use that term.
