I think location of the intial meet has a lot to do with how we are perceived.
this will sound chavenistic, women dress to attract, and when they successful they take offense. strange they dress/baiting the hook ,it is their mind that already in that trian of thought, (granted it my not be the first car behind the engine but the thought is there)so woman assume every male is thinking along the same lines.
however if they beleive they are "dressed down" they seem to take what a man is asking them at face value (without a hidden agenda), unless of course as men we fail to keep eye contact.
then you my freind are guilty of more than 'freindly' thoughts

okay, now I am getting suspicious of the men who say they are good listeners in their profile. Is that just bait? Are they really listening or just thinking about how to phrase their questions?
We women just don't want no games...so just understand that we don't want to hear what you think, we want to hear what we think in a deeper voice, so just really listen to us. suspicious is good its close to intrigue. I think I am a good listener, and as all good listeners know, manytimes the speaker will beat around the bush instead of saying exactly what they want. Good listeners and those who are genuinely interested will hear all that is said and wait to respond sometimes e wait to be asked to respond.. and sometimes there is reaslly no need to respond.
o address the " Are they really listening or just thinking about how to phrase their questions?" if someone is listening intently to what is being said sometimes there should be a pause b fore opening ones mouth with an answer ..consider this you have a problem or issue that troubles you you have thought on it awhile how considerate would be it for someone to shoot back response to what you've been thinking about for awhile to respond too quickly appears flippant and uncaring ... least wise thats my veiw from the cheap seats on this. know it alls respond immeidately someone who is sincere will usually give all you said thought before responding unles of course your sharing your doubts and problems prevent me from catching my plane on time or evacuating a burnng building and yes gettin to the game before kickoff....
