Not to offend, but we do! At least the American South West does.
{Don't get me wrong, I am entirely for LEGAL Immigration.}
But when we have Hundreds of THOUSANDS of ILLEGAL citizens protesting in our major cities, we not only have an invader, but we've been invaded.
Our issues in the middle East are nothing new. I hear people say Bush is fighting 'his daddy's war' but those poeple seem to forget we had Clinton in charge for 8 years there in the middle and he was sending troops to the middle east, too. He just made sure to have bigger sensations to take the public eye away from it. Bush didn't just wake up one morning and say "Hey, lets go start some 5h1t." We had troops there already. A very good friend seriously wounded over there while Clinton was in office.
We have issues closer to home that our American citizens need to wake up to. How many of us "Press one for English" when calling our bank, or any other automated service?
I mean I stood in line behind a Hispanic family that could not speak English well enough to order from the Frigging TACO BELL MENU!!!!!!!
What I ask people is: "Did you vote?" Many of the biggest complainers did not. Then I colorfully tell them where they can place their opinions.

I never understood why we have to pick one or the other. When our county is nearly equally divided on an issue, half of the country is going to hate the winner.
It wouldn't work great, but let the winner be the president, and the loser be the VP if the polls come out as close as they did. Then maybe we could not only get some things accomplished together, but we'd also see how honest each side was.
