Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
Ghost
The Life of David Gale
Seven
and, of course, not forgetting... Withnail & I !!thumbs up
(I've probably forgotten a few, no doubt).

I love a film with a human element to it, human strength and endurance even in adversity. But I do love a good psychological thriller, comedies definitely and an all-round good yarn......
Horror/mobster films ......nooooo!!! I scare easily and can't find violence and brutality entertaining!

I have lots of favourite films....only because i watch so many....
Have to go for The sixth sense for the twist at the end....very unexpected, and a good storyline....

Its funny, its sad ( for women of a certain age) it has lots of lovely scenery from my favourite country and also the music and its just so bloody truesigh

When I am missing Greece, or feeling down, I put this film on and cry for an hour or so and then I feel a bit better.
