Judge and Jury by James Patterson - It was excellent.
depends on the book or subject
I like Kim Harrison, Laurell K. Hamilton, Jocelynn Drake, but I'm into the vampire novels and stuff, and don't ask me why the authors I like are all women, they are really good writers. Every book has had me on the edge of my seat and unable to put the books down long enough to sleep a couple hours.
