I'm sorry to hear of this happening to your cousin. I've a son the same age and know how upset I'd feel if this happened to him. I hope his eye can be saved and that he soon recovers. You say your other cousin lost his life in this way too. I don't really know too much about all of this to be honest. I hate violence and tend to bury my head in the sand when it comes to world conflicts and also troubles such as this. Hope you're keeping your chin up though and that you're coping okay

All this bigotry crap really disgusts me. Stories like this make me really despair at some of the people we have to share the planet with. If only they could take the time and sense to have a good look at themself, work on their own beliefs, and stop looking to others to blame for their own injustices.

he is gonna be ok, his life isn't in danger anymore, he is even awake now! athough we wont know for at least a couple of days whether the surgery to save his eye has worked or not, fingers crossed it has!
he was just walking with his girlfriend and chatting on his mobile and didnt see the men behind him, they just attacked him for no other reason except that he wasn't the same religion as they were
anyway, keeping positive, he's still alive and im grateful for that!

last night my cousin was stabbed in the face and neck in a sectarian attack while he was with his girlfriend. i thought his injuries wern't that bad really until a few moments ago when i got a phone call. he's already had surgery to try and save his eye, and it's looking quite dicey for him at the moment apparently.
one of my cousins were stabbed before, unfortunately he didn't live to tell the tale so please send me lots of good luck thoughts for my cousin (he is only 20 btw).
