Why Bush? He is doing his job, the protection of US interests, mainly if it concerns the US oil and power supply.....
It is everyone of us, driving a car, heating home with oil and gas burners, using electricity for everything or buying goods in the supermarket. Srimps are fished in North Sea, transported to Morocco, women shell them - and they are carried back to North Sea central market for sale, carried to ? Poland or??, get packed and - carried back to Europe´s Aldi, Walmart or Lidl shops. Nearly everything we buy get´s transported round the world, with million gallons of diesel and kerosin.

maybe we could use all that water for hydrogen-run cars (filter out the salt). In Tasmania, scientists are even looking producing cars that run on water and wind power.

cars that run on water ;have been around for a long time but go search the patents office; and big car manufactures/oil companys; directly or indirectly have a control in these patents ; its not about global warming or you and its about greed

Nothing leaves the earth, it just gets polluted.... so maybe to concentrate on de-polluting water should be a major concern....? When you dying of thirst, you gonna worry about the fuel for your auto?dunno

rolling on the floor laughing All that is of The Earth, is organic unto this planet...

When you run H2 in an inturnal combustion engine, There is No Pollution...applause

Because H2 burns 300 degrees hotter than Petrol and 10,000 times faster...

So there is NO carbonmonoxide emmissions, only de-ionised water...

We will never run out of Hydrogen, because it is self renewing and part of The Natural life cycle of planet earth...cheers

I hope that 2012 is a year of transformation and revelation. I hope that 2012 is the beginning of a new era. One in which petroleum is no longer the fuel used for major transportation. One in which the environment is respected along with every living thing. Working towards a utopian society.

2012 is lurking around the corner. Considering when we were in 2002 (not really deep in the past) and were not too far away from todays 2007confused

Apparently there are vast reserves of oil but in less economic form, like oil shale....market forces of supply and demand will make these deposits viable, with oil over $100 pb...we won't run out of fuel for a long time...but gradually, there will be enough commercial and economic pressure to make alternative energy sources viable, and the transition to these fuels for consumers will be made. The question is, will we pollute the planet so badly by then, that there is mass exodus of peoples, mass die-offs, wars for dwindling resources, not only of oil but water, land, mineral rights etc. We have enough examples of civilization that basically ate themselves out of existence (dwindling firewood, overplanting, soil degradation) ....Mesa Verde, Easter Island come to mind...maybe our civilization will do the same, but on a global scale. Disease, war, and hunger has killed off many civilizations in the past, when will it be our turn?
