Definitely wouldn't check the forum posts. If we were hooking up I would trust him and not worry about what he was posting in the forums. Alot of it is just harmless flirting anyway.

I'd be interested in what they were interested in...and people reveal a great deal about themselves by how they react in the forums. Wouldn't be checking up as in distrustful...just getting to see if my interest is sustained.

Probably would not check because I would assume, maybe incorrectly, that the person would realize anything said is all public. This is assuming of course I found somebody even remotely close to my corner of the world that there was a "spark" with. I'm new though, so we'll see

Constantly checking what they post just says that you want to catch them doing something wrong. Browsing through their posts when your checking out their profile can tell you whether or not you want to chat them up or not.

If the responses that are written are what I percieve as negative, I would ignore that person, and not respond as to offend them as they may have offended me.
When we flame each other on the forums it can ruin a thread or start a fight, which can change the whole atmosphere on the forums.
So lets all play nice, and hopefully we can find at least a friend if not...a companion.
BTW - We all have our days, but just remember there are other people having theres to.

Oh yes...especially if they've sent me a message or a flower...definately, gotta have some idea of who I'm gonna be chatting to.
But also, there's the ones who send you mail regularly...kind of e-friends...and they're making constant references to this and that...stuff you've posted...know what I mean? I can understand it up to a point...but it's sometimes not so pleasant.

I agree to a point. The odds are high that I will never meet anyone from this site so I have not expressed an interest in anyone, but some people catch the eye more than others and make it to my 'if only' list. The personalities they display in their posts will move them up and down on that list or, in one case, off it completely. Judgmental? hell, yes. How can one choose without exercising judgment?
