People think I’m funny. No-one stranger than them. They are the ones who worry Over money and jewels and when, Someone asks them who they are, What their life has meant No-one knows the answer ‘Cos their lives have been misspent.
They go to church on Sundays and never bother to - Love their friends or neighbours Unless they can do - Something for them Or pay them back in kind. They are the ones who are funny Everyone’s a stranger to them. But we don’t have to worry Just show love and care for them.

Is your poem about religious people? ... Just curios
I particularly like this because of the hypocrisy it speaks to, particularly in my environment.
I know some great people that go to church. I also know some people that think they are great because they go to church. The act alone is not enough...

No-one stranger than them.
They are the ones who worry
Over money and jewels and when,
Someone asks them who they are,
What their life has meant
No-one knows the answer
‘Cos their lives have been misspent.
They go to church on Sundays and never bother to -
Love their friends or neighbours
Unless they can do -
Something for them
Or pay them back in kind.
They are the ones who are funny
Everyone’s a stranger to them.
But we don’t have to worry
Just show love and care for them.
