However i am sorry you are visiting a bit south for me..dont know what is the best places down that way, as not areas i frequent.. if you want to come up north to Bay of Plenty you are welcome to call in for a visit.. and a bevvy or three..happy to take you out to a few haunts our way..

LOL Pleaaaasssee?Yep well as Hello there said, there is Rotorua, it is full of hot mud pools and smells like rotten eggs... so instead take a right and head to Tauranga.. if you google the Mount Maunganui that is our local beach, has a Mount which you can walk up easily and see all down the coast etc.. wicked beach, cafes pubs etc. You can go white water rafting, heaps to do and see here.. depends on what you are sort of into. Bay of Islands is good for going right up north, but a bit of a road trip... but if you have time worth the trip. Wicked Kauri forests, bush and beaches for miles as well as lots of little beach towns etc.
I so wanna go right NOW!!

I am needing to get back to NZ as I am having withdrawals.
I have a few travel things on for the rest of this year so I am aiming to go to NZ early next year. Maybe even April/May? I don't want to go in winter as I am sure it will be cold enough LOL
What I want to ask for is your ideas etc on the best places to go. I will be going alone (kid free yay) but meeting up with family on the North Island (Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington).
I want to spend a few nights in Wellington but really check it out and do fun touristy things so if someone can recommend things to do or the best time of year to go, I would really appreciate it.
