So I've been talking to this guy that I met online and he asked me out last night for today. We were supposed to go for drinks on a patio just after lunch. He was supposed to get in contact with me around 12:00 so we could arrange meeting around 1:00.

I was out for the morning so once I got home (at 11:45) I send him a quick note to tell him I was home. Long story short at 2:30ish, I wrote him another message and said that since it was after 2:00 I assumed we weren't getting together today and maybe we could do it another time.

My computer has been on ALL day - still no messages. Ah well...his loss. I'm not too concerned about it.

Has this happened to anyone else and if he asks again, should I forgive him and give him a second chance at a date?

It happens. Hard not to feel put out or bad about it.

Sure, set up another time. What's the harm?

Well I guess you need the whole story before writing the guy off for good, just watch out for a cheesy excuse.

I think he's crazy, myself.

He's already shown you disrespect and inconsideration.

Be careful there is a manipulation that some use to gain ground they try to make you feel anxious eager which causes a person to be less guarded.

If there is a huge reason than yea possibly give another chance but than again people can conjure up anything.

However for me I wouldn't give a second chance to a stranger no matter how great looking she was in my case.

The first presentation usually is the one that will determine if there will even be another date or time.

Has he even yet got back to you??canada

Still no Reply...I'm thinking he's just no longer interested.

Other than a mis-communication (which I'm pretty sure at this point it isn't or he would have contacted me by now), the only thing I can think of is before I went to bed I said "...I have church tomorrow from 10:30-11:30 and I'll be home by 12:00. We can discuss time and location then" He followed with "Sounds good. Sweet Dreams". SO..the only other thing I can think of is he's scared off by the thought of me going to church. Oh Well.

Church is important to me but I not a die-hard catholic nor would I NEVER push it on someone else. He lost his chance to figure that out.

His Loss.

Be careful of going out with males that don't attend church if you do attend.
My mother loved going to church when we my brothers and I were children but my father did not even believe in God.
He would make fun of her say things bad about the Lord tell her we the children didn't have to go to such crap--

We are told in the bible to surround our selves with fellow christens that we are to be separated from non believers.
I have many non-christen friends but in my own home I would prefer another christen partner to share life with so there is no debate nor room for disapproval.

Btw the guy was worth a good christen woman like yourself---best of wishes to you!canada

Sorry Sqishy,

Not all guys are like that.
That's the problem with some people on the net. They are never happy with what they have, they're always on the lookout for something better.
If it mattered, i'd take a run at you if i lived over there. Just don't step out of the waylaugh hug
