They got married...but he smokes 2 boxes of cigarrets everyday...she is getting piss of...and ask him to quit cigarret.....would you quit smoke for her?????
I would say that its unfair to expect him to change after the contract has been signed...she, I'm sure, knew he smoked...
Even if he did promise to quit, tobacco is more addictive than heroin, easier said than done...I know from experience... so she is expecting him to be more than human for her sake...?
My last relationship was remarkable in that regard. I smoked, she did not. Not once, in almost three years, was it ever a point of contention. She just accepted it as part of me. Again, remarkable.
Admittedly, it is the dumbest thing I do every day. I ponder quitting, and often. Would I quit for someone? I suppose a push in that direction is not necessarily a bad thing...
Yeah...its always nice to have moral support with being judgemental...as I said...I'd like to quit too, but it's unrealistic for me to try without a support group...all my friends smoke...not much help there...
That's a very unfair question since we knowing nothing about her personality, hobbies and mental state.
When it comes to wives and husbands from what i noticed with my friends is that guys won't do what their wives ask because they are upset about either how they were asked or about her attitude on the subject.
If he's not quitting for her then it's because of something she did before.
Personally, I would prefer to do it for myself and no one else. If I felt that it would hinder my relationship, then I would look at the pros and cons of quitting. A longer healthier life and perhaps a longer lasting relationship or death as a result of lung cancer. This kind of death is usually the norm for those that do smoke.
