peace Everything in moderation people peace

When I see the same poster starting many threads, it reminds me of walking into a room where only one person is doing most of the talking and won't allow others to participate in the conversation.

In gilly's case, maybe he just has alot to say. dunno

I do however think it would have been kinder to discuss this with him in private email than to publicly discuss it. Sorry, if this thread was directed towards me, I would be hurt, embarrassed and defensive.

So I can see both sides ... again moderation would be a good place to start.

thanks for your comments assets and for your obvious maturity in looking into both sides of the debate... in the past when this matter was bought up gilly was mailed and decided to not answer the mail leaving it impossible to undestand his actions or to enter into any private discussions.

Not always "hear"/see what it is we are trying to say and nothing you say or do is going to change that.

Be it guard or a defence meconism,Pete you know what it is your trying to say,and in the end is trully all that matters.

I know of your attentions just so you know.

Pete, in complete fairness it wasn't anything to do with replying to this thread. It was a wee while back now........ but a complete eye-opener, nonetheless!!

"Weaker ones"??? I am sure you will agree that it is the stronger ones that don't need to resort to bully tactics and the weaker ones who do?? I have much experience in this field in recent years, a bully is WEAK!!

Thanks for caring, sweetie!! kiss Bless ya......

thank you star! hug

For some it is hard to accept that the thread is just about questioning the flooding of a forum with numerous posts? and they, for some strange reason feel the need to defend the topics or the personality of the poster rather than to look at the question?

Why should a person feel the need to post so many threads at once that others are forced to sink into oblivion? It's not a 'community' when one person feels he needs to be the main attraction... we are all equal and I miss the views of the masses when I log on to CS and find a whole page of Gilly69 threads, like what happened yesterday!

No replies have been forwarded to the emails sent to him regarding his mass posting in the past so I feel it within my rights to publicly question this issue!

My final thought on this issue. Gilly has posted the threads, I do not see him posting continually to keep his threads at the top of the page. It is the members of this forum who keep responding to his threads. Gilly only occasionally responds.

Apparently the majority find his threads to be thought provoking, and something worthy of discussion. So who is it that keeps a thread st the top of the page?

I think the board has spoken. thumbs up thumbs up

thanks for responding... I'm slightly perlexed as to who the 'board' are?? does this mean we should all go now?? Is this thread now closed because mitchell has had the last word? :roll get over yourself my friend!

Thought provoking and worthy of discussion are all well and good... but it is not so much the responders to his threads that kept them to the top to begin with! it was the fact that he mass posted and denied others of a chance to see their threads get a reasonable amount of veiw-time!

Sounds like you are the one who needs to "get over yourself"

The board is the entirety of this forum. This whole thread is a waste of time and energy.

Stop the whining and go have some fun in the less serious threads, you`ll be less stressed and you wont have to exercise any brain cells. Maybe the paint fumes are getting to you, could be too much denatured alcohol.

All it takes to get a thread to the top of the page is one post.

Stop complaining, chill and have fun with the threads you like.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is this thread now closed because Mitchell has had the last word"?

I don`t have the authority to close a thread, so that is just foolish to suggest. It is my final thoughts on the subject. Not yours or anyone else`s.

Continue on, Let`s keep this one at the top as well. cheers

"All it takes to get a thread to the top of the page is one post."

First you have to find the thread.

Which is, as far as I can see, the topic of this thread.
