I've never dated a fellow Gemini, although I have many witty, charming, very intelligent, awesome female Gemini friends.......I think we just know each other too well to dare burning each other out!
However, I guess that a Gemini/Gemini partnership could just possibly work - though quite unlikely as we Geminis need somebody more stable than ourselves that can give us emotional security - right?

Yes, I had communication problems with both Taurus and Pisces (I find people born under the sign of Taurus stubborn almost to the point of foolishness, and Pisces swim in different directions and can suddenly change from total love and commitment into cold fish overnight!)

Gemini/Gemini...would surely be full of fun, laughter, spontaniety and witty banter. But.. I really do think we need someone who acts as a grounding force/stabilizer around us in some form or other! 
I agree totally............Geminis should just boink each other's brains out and then move on!
I find K/T`s posting about the most realistic here. A person is born .. at a certain time... and they have some basic recognisable traits... but the buck stops there. How they turn out is another story.

You had a change with Sagittarius: Either Opposites Attract..or Absolutely Repel. Of all the opposites Sag and Gems go the best together. Brad and Angelina..doing great so far! :)
Gems' best matches: the other Air signs Libra and Aquarius, also Aries, Leo..and Sagittarius
Anyways as you said, you can try all the remaining 9, should get lucky somewhere along the line I guess!
