If you were given a percentage in a long distance relationship. How far would you travel. Let's say the following percentages are given.........at what point would you cry uncle that it was too much of gamble......................90% successful 80%, 70%, 60%, 50% (now these would be proven odds)....... I would love to know where people's comfort zone would be...Example, you are in New York and your interest is on the west coast, or even more, you are Europe and your interest is aboard.........where would you draw the line on the risk factor.
Your right, what is the cost of a ticket when you weigh it to the joy of a life time, its just how certain would you be before you feel comfortable enough to give it a go........
I live in Europe and I'm travelling to Australia within next couple of months to meet up with a guy I got to know though CS. We've been chatting on Skype several hours a day since May (it's free!!!). And yes... we're both feeling jet-lagged without either of us having got on the plane yet! But it's and worth every minute!
If I was given odds: 80% -90% : would do it of course :-) including making plans 70% : would do it but would not make any firm plans 60% - 50% : wouldn't do it! At those odds might just as well grab the first available male that walks past in the street!
I would travel wherever to be with a guy if i truly believed that we could have something special. Distance should not be the deciding factor in chosing to take a chance or be with someone. No one said that your soulmate has to live within a certain distance of u and if u only look in ur immediate area then chances are u will never find him/her!
For me it does'nt...true love is worth fighting for..thats if u believe in it in the first place. and I read a quote before that 'love is a journey not a place'..many ways u could take that up!
