Here's my question! How many guys say sappy, syrupy things they don't mean, in these rooms, just so the women will think they are sweet! Though this is directed towards the men, how many of you ladies do the same thing?? Everyone seems so nice and thoughtful in these singles rooms...so where are they in real time??? Yes, I know, I am cynicaltongue

Forums can go two ways one has these things: silly, not too deep, raunchy.

It can go another way where people may say what they mean to say or what they probably would say talking to the one they want to be with.

Under certain circumstances "Boys will be Boys" and talk like em and act like em. Women as well can say any number of things that a man would not want to hear.

But if someone is saying in a forum what he would say in someone's kitchen or living room with just the two of them there, if it is something he would say after a couple of dates and a week away from each other then we are looking at something real here.

thanks everyone, for your input! I truly appreciate it when people are honest about their feelings. I don't make a lot of friends, but the few I do develope are good and lasting ones.

And yes, JOY, I always enJOY your postsrolling on the floor laughing

i don't say any sappy syrupy things in here! and not usually in real life unless i feel a wave of "soppy totally in love" moment. i just prefer to be honest. if i love someone and think they are gorgeous or fantastic, i don't need to "compare thee to a summer rose". it makes me laugh tbh! although i don't mind being lovey dovey i guess, if the mood is right, but thats not being syrupy! it's called being in love and telling your partner how you feel!

I flirt, admittedly, but I always tell the truth. I wouldn't just say things to make someone like me! I just enjoy a good flirting session.

sappyness can be cute, but it can be overbearing. And there is never anything wrong with flirting.I wish I could develop the art.

banana Hi there~~
There is a certain amount of what I consider "polite" talk that occurs on line. I must admit I try to put my words into a nicer package on line than I might in person with good friends. The truth is different for everyone...just ask people who observed a crime. Flirting is a dance, people move with each other and it can be fun or can end up with toes stepped on. I try to always express the truth without stepping on others toes or trying to push my beliefs on them.
Yes, people do put their best self forward on line~~my opinion. That can be scary as I have met some who were offensive to me immediatelyfrustrated
Great question~your new picture is GREAT!!!
