I get the feeling it'll be middle of winter reno's again this year. blues
So long as I can get all the concrete poured before everything freezes I might be OK.

Have to admit, motivation/procrastination is a problem for me too. Especially when there seems to be so much to do and the list never ends. wow

On the other hand, I really enjoy revelling in accomplishments when things get finished. Particularly when there is something I can stand back and see and admire. cheering

Always a balancing act!!!

All doors done - and they look stunning! thumbs up

Well, it's pouring rain in Ontario today, and I was set to close out the swimming pool. Since the weatherman says 90% rain all day..I will have put that off.
Because I have lists of things that need to get done and so many, I feel overwhelmed and am not motivated in the least bit. I need to whip myself into a mood to at least start something today before it's back to work tomorrow.

What to do, what to do, what to do???sigh

Anyone heard the weather forecast for this week??? Wednesday is magic day for me - scaffolding needs to go back (and then I get to try driving a trailer behind my Jeep returning it)... That will be a big day!

Hi Angel,hope all is well.

Lets see ...do u have any storm windows to put up?
The gutters.if u have any,the chimneyand or furnace.
A quick peek at the water pipes to see if they may need to be insulated(in some places it helps)
Be sure to have spare fuses on hand and check out any heaters you may be using to be sure they're clean and in good condition.

When ur done u can come and help me do my mom's house lolrolling on the floor laughing

This is the time of year I'm glad I live in Canada's banana belt.

We hear in central, southern ONtario have at least a good month, month and a half before it gets colder.

Can't believe you westerners are already battening down the hatches.rolling on the floor laughing

Enjoylaugh

It's great that I'm not alone in this... I'm predicting an Indian Summer... whatcha think??? tongue

Progress was good today. dancing

I now have all my windows reinstalled. 1/2 of the front eavestroughing reinstalled, only 1/2 to go. Primer is on on part of the front (my neighbours think I'm crazy cause the primer is pink!!) - the paint itself will be Heritage Red (kinda a brick red) but, I have to admit the pink is flashy! cheering

2 more coats after primer... Crap... I'm not going to make the Wednesday deadline, again.... doh

Oh, well... what's another week??? dunno frustrated

AARRRGGHHH! frustrated

Rain for the next two days... I'm dead in the water. I've decided I much prefer working on the inside. You're not so susceptible to the elements!!! Hear its going to -2C on Thursday night.

2 coats on 2 windows, 1 coat on the big one (its gonna be two tone - first colour only). 1st coat of colour over the pink primer on part of the front... and that's it!!! Ran out of parts on the eavestrough.. go figure??? Sucks to be me.

Can I swear here?????? doh

Maybe I'll go hide in the garage and do the 4 shutters that still need to be done... or... I'll curl up with a movie and forget life for a while!!!

dunno
