Hey,I am trying to keep up my part of the fun and humor and will always do my best to say hello to just about everyone,no matter where they may live......I like making new friends and have made some very lovely friends off here.........

I wanted to quickly add, I think some of you should re evaluate the ages you are looking for, some women or men see that and instantly think, "No Chance" When I was 44 I dated a 54 year old. She looked like a 30 year old and acted like one. So to limit the age really cutting your odds down.

I've seen some guys on here that think they only should have women younger then them. That's a crock, What if women felt that way. That would mean all guys that are 55 would only be able to date women older. Get over the age thing people. Two examples, Judy is 71, she posts it proudly. I doubt a man of 60 years could keep with Judy, yet they won't consider her cause her age?
That's crazy. One more, Paws, this man is in excellent shape, well loved by all, so he gets cut out cause someone decides 59 is the limit. Like mindful say's, it's a case by case basis. Does this make sense to anyone else?

You're right about no one liking a down puppy. Granted we all have our days, but if I notice someone always posting something depressing, I (personally) find it unattractive. A sense of humor will always carry you far, and it's the one thing NO ONE can take from you!
There have been days that I have been depressed to the point that I wa crying. I come to the forums, and within minutes of reading the funny threads, my tears slow down, and I'm smiling. It usually doesn't take long, and I'm posting, acting silly, and literally laughing out loud. Laughter is the best medicine.
Additionally, the harmless (and maybe some of it is not so harmless) flirting that takes place on the forum, goes a long way to sooth a bruised ego!!!
To borrow Ice's trademarked phrase : JMO!!

Been there too mant times. Crying. leave the PC, go lay down. Get back on the PC find some funny stuff, then roll with it for hours. Humor is a great treatment when you are down..

I've said it many times, I'll say it again. interact in the forums, Read profiles, blogs, get to know someone a little bit before massive E-mails are sent. Have fun, post topics that are thought provoking, so you get feedback. There are so many good people on this site, I find it hard to believe that some are still single, but I will say this. 6 months before I met Ice, I heard the same thing from many. So don't give up!
One more thing, if you want to increase your odds of meeting your match, put in your profile, that you may consider relocating if it's an option for you.. This opens a whole new world of opportunity for all.
Why are we here? To encourage those, and show it can be done. To help shed light in dark areas, to help with the laughter when you are down.
