What about the guys in resteraunts. I watch the Waitress come up and ask if they are ready to order? The woman looks at the waitress, and is just about to speak, the the guy blurts out " I'll have Cheeseburger and onion rings" That just rude.

There are a few Ladies out there still, but far and few between, in todays society they don't have time to be pampered with all the equal rights they have, now they are finding out what it's like to work and be a man with the wrong equipment.
Unfortunately equal rights killed the days of Chivalry , but it's nice to do thing's like that for them and get the looks of why is he doing this for me attitude.
I don't miss the Old days, just the Old ways, and I do love an Independent woman.

Hand holding, opening the door, coming into the kitchen while i cook and lending a hand, or just talk to me, come up and just give a hug fo no reason, going to the mivies and getting 2 sodas and 1 popcorn, and knowing that its ok to reach in and get some. I have always let the man order after we have discussed what we want. What i miss most is the cuddling at night. the snuggles, I guess i miss the human contact...

I was just wondering if men forgot how to act like gentlemen. I've seen one guy open the car door for a woman in 10 years. This was a young couple. I thought it was cool.

Very old school on this end. In addition to some of the things you list, I would add always taking the street/traffic side of a sidewalk - a mild sort of protection mode. My ex noticed this practice after a little while and asked - she was thrilled...
