So if my line of thinking is right, this is something that "comes in" 4 parts, but when seperated from the other 3 will change function altogether...right?

Wow..such interesting things you're coming up with.

It's not Maltese currency GoinPostal..... but...you got somehow mentioned a *connection* to the first part/form.

thumbs up

Your line of thinking is PERFECT... first part is something that comes in 4 parts.

Without the other three.. it changes function and meaning. It's totally unrelated to the first in form and use.

The answer is same word with two different meanings.

Go girl!

Which one are you referring to...the four part thingy? Or the other one?

The meaning of the first part can be found in the kitchen as well as in other places.. (it has nothing to do with food/cooking or the kitchen as such). A table could be anywhere...

Only answer for first part of riddle comes in four parts..
