Sorry to hear about your loss darlin' The only thing is, when they get to a certain age and especially if they are suffering in any way, it's actually selfish from our side to want to keep them going. I am sure he will rest in peace

Hello to all my friends on CS

Sorry it has been a while since I wrote anything on here and thanks to those who mentioned me from time to time.

I still follow the forums but had a change of job, I am now working at an International Bank and cannot be on CS during the day. In the evening I check what's going on but am usually too tired to write anything!!

I publicly apologise to Smoky for not meeting her up when she was over, but both myself and my daughter were sick at the time

Just wanted you all to know that I'm still alive and kicking, and very happy with my life right now....maybe I'll give out more details at a later stage

You made me go back and check how long have I been on here for...I joined in June 2006!!!! I never think how long should I stay here for...I will stay until I get bored with it. I have made many friends and dated guys from the site too.

Regarding the success stories, although the threads keep coming up in the forum, it doesn't mean that who THOUGHT that found his / her soulmate then, is NOW living happily ever after! Finding a soulmate is one of the toughest things a human has to go through in life and it surely doesn't happen over night. Seems like the older we grow, the tougher it becomes. But what the heck, let's just enjoy eachother's company without any expectations. Remember that for every pot there is a lid and if I don't find my lid, I'm happy anyway the way I am today!

Just recovered from a week in bed with severe gastric flu and am appreciating feeling healthy again! That's what's important!!!

If being choosey means looking for someone who looks good, has brains, is decent, knows what love and respect mean and has balls for commitment...than I am choosy!! But in my honest opinion I do not see myself as being choosy. I simply know what I want...but this man is having a long sleep I think

On a serious note...I would prefer a Saturday as I won't have my daughter at home, whereas Friday is a pain in the backside trying to arrange baby sitting etc and going out after work.

Being a Virgo you hit me on a sore spot Rusty! Virgos and perfection go hand in hand!

I try to be as perfect as possible in everything I do and in every aspect of life, wheter it's work, motherhood, friendship or relationships. I am not saying I seek a PERFECT partner nobody is perfect not even me. What I mean is I give my utmost in everything...that's how I am!

I've learnt that in this life NOTHING is perfect though, which can leave me disappointed at times.
