OK, on a more serious note here..lets be completely truthful and honest..and put it out there like this...
The females that you see in Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler, Cosmopolitan, Forum, on TV, in music videos, walking the red carpet......you think these women fall out of bed just looking like that? You actually believe that these women just were born with beauty au natural??? No honey, sooooo sorry to disappoint...they aren't. They employ people who shop for them, personal trainers, chefs, make-up artists, hair and skin care professionals, etc,. etc. Beauty in that realm doesn't come cheaply at all....but they have a "public" image to maintain. Therefore they take 6-8 hours to get ready before a big event, they don't eat like a normal person, they dress in millions of dollars worth of jewels and have dresses that are worth more than maybe 2 or 3 peoples yearly income put together.
Of course the old saying is true that "water seeks its own level" and this is particularly true if you have not one ounce of self-esteem. If that is the case then you probably should be working on getting some self-esteem before you try to date anyone....JMO

Good, we're making progress. Also i understand the high maintenance bit but question is: "for who to maintain?" You don't have to turn away because of that hon. We have more empowered women now than ever before and we can take care of ourselves. All a girl might need is love so give yourself a chance and try not to judge too fast.

Ahhh Homely a bad choice of word i agree. This is where the virtual world collapses and dies. An innocent word phrased wrongly causing discent and misunderstanding. I was trying to think of a TV character /Actor. The closest examples I could think of were Oprah and The lady boss off Boston Legal. (can't think what her name is but I should know it).
But the thread has been taken to literally.
Try looking at it as in trying to understand how a man thinks. They are stimulated on two different levels and both levels need to be satisfied to keep him satisfied.
Everyday we hear and read "I don't understand men" Will first you have to figure out which side of the brain is firing.
But a guy while one tracked in his thinking does have two sides to that track.
