I can't remember when I first started writing... I think I've done it all my life... Then, I stopped (being a teenager wasn't compatible with sitting down to write things) and I started again at lunch time, well after lunch. I told the kids stories so after I took them to school I had to go to the computer, remember them and write them down. then I had a better idea, I recorded the stories but it took too long to do the transcript. The best idea was when I got up early to do them, then print them and read them at lunch time (a good time for corrections too). Now I can only read a few to them as they are no longer children orientated...
novels need more time... I've two pending and another one which I killed off short after 6 chapters as I wanted to do other things... (I was also getting bored with the character's antics!)

I stopped writing for about six years, had nothing to do with the children, just the circumstances. I picked it up again not too long ago. Thank goodness we live in the computer age, I used to type them all on an ordinary typewriter!!
Novels need more time and research. I'm only working on the one at the moment and may start another one soon. I had writers block a while ago but started reading it again to find out where she was going with another character.
My children are always on at me to let them read it but I tell them; not until I've finished.
I have never had anything published. Nobody has in all those years seen anything I've written. That is a wish of mine though to have something published, who knows one day.

Once had a pottery where we went thru a ton of clay in less than a week...fired
pots in an outdoor kiln that took 24 hours to fire...
Also designed and built a Dome house in Minnesota...still there...
I continue to oil paint ...have a house full of art...my therapy..
