I find that The greatest gift they all contributed to us was "Perception". I like to think those old philosophers, they had an epiphany. Much like the "Big Bang" therory of creation. It open their minds to perceive what has not been yet conceived.

If this is gibberish...HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY to ALL

Philisophy is the way we understand the World.

It's not the way the World is.

Philisophy is a method and means to try to put old and existing concepts into order. That "order" is different for everybody and every person.

Philisophy does use words, that should be a clue right there.

Mike, that's it in a nutshell. The human mind attempting to describe itself, by it's own design. LJ

We do have to admit that Philisophy is great entertainment, perhaps some of finest in a Greek tragedy in an outdoor ampitheatre as sunset over some ocean scattered with islands and sailboats.

With a beautiful woman and stars overhead.

Philosophy is to be Enjoyed. That above all.

Adrianna, there is in your mind right now, every great book ever written, every thought that has ever existed. Out of the box my dear, think out of the box. Do you know where the universe ends, how it began, why we are self aware in the first place, what is thought, recognition and on and on. Philosophy is a pass time like twiddling your thumbs. We are. That's it. LJ
