Great point.. I will do that.. But why would some one leave such a nasty comment? If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.. sad people can be so mean..
Thanks Eupho, I did that too, also whilst I was there I found the delete option - If you go to Edit Profile and then to edit photo comments, it allows you to delete them
Guess what? You forgot the testimonial part of it. There’s nothing you can do about that one. Even if you decide to delete all your photos, it will stay there.
My god it's pretty bad when you can't even trust people to post a decent comment...The last I looked we were all adults...Perhaps the ones who can't act like adults and feel the need to post nasties about people should learn to stay away from the controls...
Why be so negative about a great feature?... Photo Comments allows you to get feedback on your photos or to explain why you rated a photo as you did (ie. “I rated your photo a 4 because it's dark and blurry”, or “I have a dog/cat like yours”, or “I really like this new photo, scenery in the background”, etc, etc.).
As with other site features, you are given many options:
1) If you don’t want members to comment on a photo, you can turn it off for EACH photo. -Click EDIT PHOTOS in top nav -Click Yes or No under Comments for each photo. (This is also where you can turn Rate Photo on or off for each photo.)
2) You can read and approve Photo Comments before they appear on your profile. -Click EDIT PROFILE in top nav -Click EDIT SETTINGS link inside the blue Personal Admin box -Scroll down page to PHOTO COMMENTS -Click "I want to approve Photo Comments first before they appear on my profile” -Be sure to check your EDIT PHOTO COMMENTS from time to time and approve them, otherwise you may have Comments sitting there that will not appear on your profile until approved.
3) You can Delete your Photo Comments. -Click EDIT PROFILE in top nav -Click the EDIT PHOTO COMMENTS link inside your blue Personal Admin box -Delete a Comment if you like or -Approve a Comment if you have changed your settings to require your approval first
4) Lighten up. Positive feedback is always nice… but none of you will break if someone doesn’t like your photo. A Comment actually reflects more on the Commenter than on you. Use this and all other features as they were intended… tools to create interaction and bring attention to your profile by those who might not otherwise have seen it. If you don’t like the features, turn them off, but then stop complaining that your ad gets no response.
