thats true actually I had no emails until I put my picture up then I had loads. I think a picture makes it easier to know whether your going to connect with somebody.

Just like being around people in a social setting, eventually you may hit it off with someone and go from there. If it doesn't, at least you can say you had a little fun!

Though i wouldn't say i'm necessarily new (2 months now) I have begun to think that because people feel this type of thing really doesn't work (ie: fake pics, fake identities, scammers..etc etc) and perhaps with good reason...they do not put a real effort into "meeting" people...it seems to be more of a casual hang out...and the forums?..the absolute best...and because i spend so much time on here now...i very rarely even do people search any more...i just enjoy the company of those i've found on the forums!!
