The problem I think is that we place too much value on how people look, Jebodia of the local Armish group somehow manages to get laid and married and you gotta admit there aint much to look at, but he embodies all the values that his women are looking for.
You don't have to be single, anyone can get a partner, it's just that the men available arn't to your taste....or sanitary, or intelligent, or handsom....heh. I don't lack too much for offers, about once every two months from men and about once every two weeks from women. But I don't generally want the people who make the offers, I sure as hell don't know them and they aren't to my taste in looks and because I've met them at a party with their imposter in full swing and not the real them...I can't trust what I'm seeing.
Get to know a man over time as a person...then look to see if you can love him. Chances are by that stage, you'll think he's attractive anyway.
