I have found some people who make posts are just trying to be funny. Sometimes they can go over the line.

I try to have fun on here and make jokes. I never try to hurt anyone...my humor usually is self-inflicted. I do not joke in serious threads though.

I think most people here are pretty nice and aren't actually trying to be rude---some are trying to be rude though...lol. And it is a shame they are here with that intent.hug

There are a few out there that certainly make it a challenge to be civil and decent at times. I've found myself on the receiving end of a few that apparently don't bother to actually read more than a few words of a message and blast away at you!

Finding people that are as thoughtful as we'd all like to believe we are is getting harder; probably because the net allows people to behave in ways they never would think about doing out in public.

My own pet peeve is the number of people that say they would love to correspond, then after two or three messages they just disappear. I often refer to it as that "kid in a candy shop" syndrom where they just sump around to the next shinny penny without any concern for the other persons feelings, but I guess the internet imitates society since relationships, marriage, and so much more seem to be the same way out in the "real world" these days too ......... mumbling

cupcakeness,I personally don't recall anyone being nasty to you.You seem okay in my bookhug

Some use the pc as a way of getting out frustration and anger that they won't do to their boss or buddy. So they heap it at us.Some are just mean and like trying to inflict emotional pain, some want to pick arguement, thinking they will come out looking bright(inferiority complex)
and now and then 1 of us gets nasty because a post sets us off and we type beforewe think. My conclusion of it all.peace

You will find these "griefers" anywhere online. Their purpose is to annoy, aggravate and start arguments and such. That is their source of entertainment. The more they can upset you, the happier it makes them.

I always figure in RL they must have serious social issues and the internet lets them say/do what they wish they could in RL, but don't have the cojones.
