Thanks. I was surprised by that one. I guess I thought it was a stronger term. I sort of want to get an idea for how this term is understood, how it might be used in describing how one dressed, was made up, etc.

Flashily pretty? First thing that popped in my head is gawdy. Almost overdone, not subtle, trying too hard.

I agree with windy on this one...first thing i thought of too when i read the term...makes me think of big hair, too too red lipstic, rhinestone glasses...fake moles..that sort of thing...lol

I think of looks that attract a lot of attention.

Could be a supermodel type like Tyra Banks or a more Playboy type like Pamela Anderson...or the celebrity in the news type like Paris Hilton...pretty but mostly FLASH.

Maybe it's the camera flash that defines them...
