Depends why you broke off with them in the first place. If it was a good reason then it was the right decision.
There were a few reasons really but i will not discuss them publicly. Suffice to say I miss her a lot for someone I knew for a short while.
I know what you mean, Scott. I think being alone only kindles the regret and the more time you have to spend with memories, it kinda makes you want to make more.

Mine was the opposite.. I was told to leave.. but after a while I was glad I was.. the only thing I regrett is that I was stupid enough to ever be with her in the first place.. but hind sight is better than fore sight.. It will get better.. things happen for a reason.. it may be that your one true love is just around the corner...
I agree things happen for a reason,and often times for the better.
We can drive ourselves crazy with the 'what ifs'in life or decide to move forward.All you can do is talk to her and see if it over for good and if so then you can say at least you tried.

I will not contact her anymore, I don't think she wants it. Its kind of sad for me because I was under so much pressure when I was with her, and it kind of overshadowed us eventually. I suppose it is meant to be this way, and that is what I am getting used to living with.
There are other things I've looked back on doing and wondered the same thing...you should see the clothes I wore in the 80s!

Soemtimes the choices we have to make are not easy...but once we have made them we need to live with them - life goes on.
Do you thing it's not so much you think you might have made the wrong decision... but it might be the companionship you miss? You know, like the having someone there to be with.. that could be it too..
Best thing for now Scott is to just let it go and take one day at a time,see what's out there and leave it be and stop wondering what might have been......it only drives a person crazy.
