actually I don't thinks it's our presence in Muslim countries that have the extremists angry with us. I believe it's the unwarranted blind eye that we give to Israel. And the carte blanche that we provide Israel. Israel answer to nobody and the U.S. supports them in all that they do!

I agree with you.It is not the religion that is at fault but the laws and those who interpret them.
People are always confusing state and church(for lack of a better term) when ever Islam is concerned.
How many people here have actually read the Qur'an? Do you know that women are considered the equal to men in all things in it?
I am against the way they choose to interpret the laws(hate me if you want)but once again it is not the religion.
Islam,Christiany,Judaism,Wicca,Catholicism have all had their writings misinterpreted and twisted to suit someones views at some time or other throughout history as have most religions.There is no 'ONE' religion that is better than another.............they all lead to the same place.......belief in a higher power,tolerance,acceptance,love,helping others and causing no harm,or at least isn't that what they're supposed to?
