However they are described from nationality to personality theres is a difference, and contrary to the "common" flock it is a fine line so fine a line it its trampled on daily...maybe intentionally.

I'm a LonelyHeart, what better way to describe a person who never fails to met his obligations yet in the still of the rising sun or awhile the sun and moon exchange dominance of the sky... is still alone?

A "flirt" in all senses and descriptions here that I've heard described " I AM NOT." sorry its a "gift " ( some say) I find that is more hurtful than sincere. Paint it any way you chose. Flirting is and will always be in my estimation of knowing love is but a dancethat interested parties do between one another.

But hey I'm well past puberty, so maybe I'm missing this thing I hear'/ read called "Enjoyment"of flirting so many get.

maybe more of the general public believes flirting is more than a kind word with frivolous innuendos attached

just maybe those harmless flirts have no regard for others who sek genuine attention and affection... Maybe

Thank you...couldn't have said it better myself....needed to be put out there!

I find that most "flirts" on here, well if you are into the forums, you know who they are, but when you actually converse via telephone or messenger and they seem "into" you, only to have "strung" you along, all the while their heart and mind is with another, well that just isn't right....

I am not sure who to "trust" anymore...games....sure the "bar" scene have their flirts, but you can at least watch their eyes and actions...here they do it behind your "screen" and usually find out when they post something about another person....happened to me twice...can't say it won't happen again...

So how does one know if it is genuine afftection and attention instead of just the need for attention?confused frustrated

Unfortunaetly the giver thinks there is nothing wrong with it!

They feel like they are here to do just that and find someone

Or perhaps lead someone on and keep them where they want them...just in case the other doesn't work for them

Second best....tired of being that!very mad

sorry mime that you got stung. this has been brought up in a couple diff ways in other posts. flirting in the forums is diff then what goes on between ppl outside the forums. not sure there is ever a way to trust someone fully on here, not sure I would want to..theres to much to invest in it. since we cant make others be honest and upfront theres just not much anyone can do. but take chances and see what happens...best of luck

how dopes one know if its harmless flirting or not.... ask them..

but cha they have multiple definitons of when its just being kind or sincere

it takes being hoodwinked by "undefined flirtation" to truly know the scar the bite leaves.

Yet those out there will defend themselves as well as be defendd by others as doh anybody should've known it was intended as harmless.

But those notorious for doing it when they themselves get sucked in... OH its a travesty..its a intentional assault on their big generous heart and compassionate nature...

God Bless internet dating site and their forums so much can be learned thumbs up

Are saying it bothers you that some women are friendlier than others..and sometimes the recipient takes it as a sign they like him/her?

Good thread and your point is true about dating sites and forums, but Mime also has a point.

A double edged sword dilema it seems.

again another who will notIdentify his intentions until later ...

do you flirt first then get serious or do you only flirt with those that you have no real design on?

Yeah, just asking.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers. Some people on here are veterans of the online dating scene..though I am but a mere rookie.

Just wanted to clarify the topic of discussion.

I'll have to agree. Some people just have a natural flirtatious way about them. Not that it's wrong..not that it's right.
