My mother grew up in Cornwall, Penzance I think (I'll have to check with her) and I remember going to a place called Place Manor for the best tea ever....the cream was unbelievably delicious!

I took my USA buddy there recently.. she slipped over on the steep hill down..

I spent a couple summers there when I was growing up...went to Gerran's School(sp?) for a term once and hated it because they expected me to drink a bottle of milk at lunch. I am lactose intolerant which is why it made me sick but who knew back then?

It is entirely possible but I haven't been back since I was about nine so I don't remember.
I remember my gran being totally hysterical because when I got up one morning there was an adder in the bed, apparently it came in for the warmth. I thought it was rather pretty!

They come out to *Sun* themselves on the paths in the warmth of the sun.
Never heard of one in someone's BED before though.. haha
Did you ever see the *Witches house* behind Place Manor? It looks JUST like you would imagine one to look.. and all hidden in the undergrowth and trees. (it IS hard to see it)
