speedy5662Tulsa, USA35 Threads 936 PostsWell folks, most of Tulsa is in the dark, due to power outages from the ice storm that is hitting us!! Thank God for my cell phone, so I won't suffer without the internet:rolling: Anyway, just thought I would let you folks know....It could be worse.

I am in OKC. My power line is lying about 1 1/2 feet from the ground and will snap at any time. I spent 45 minutes trying to get into my car and let it run for 1 1/2 hours and now finally I peeled off the ice in large 2' x 2' sheets. If we loose power we'll have to go elsewhere or we're gonna get real cold real fast.

Sorry to hear of your Ice problems. Thats why I moved to California from the chicago area last year. It mid winter here. i'm freezing at 60 degrees and sunny.

I have still have power but it is getting ready to rain some more and that maybe the final straw. Our heat is run by electricity so I may have to take my little one and seek out another place to be.

Just heard an update...1/3 of the state of Oklahoma is without power. Craziness. We are very blessed to still have our power. We have about 10 people coming over shortly b/c apparently we are the only ones who still have power.
