I think when people disagree over issues some people take it personally.
It is not personal unless one of the people involved start calling names.
I will not agree with everyone here on lots of things but it is not personal,
just a difference of opinion.
What it does is give me an indication of like minded people.
I can be friends with someone who does not think the same as me,
as long as we both respect each others point of view.

I mean, we saw several pretty vicious threads last night...lots of nasty comments besides also.
Is it really worth all of the emotional expenditure...and to portray ourselves as so petulant and petty!
Also, just an observation here...but why is it mainly women who get involved in all this stuff?
I mean, if we have a beef with somebody, it strikes me as obvious to sort it out via private e-mail...or just drop it completely. Why construe ill intent when often we just don't truly know the people we're interacting with unless we really take the time to get to know them?
