I spent eight days in the south island in November. Had a great time. Flew into Christchurch and drove down to Kaikoura, Blenheim, Nelson, Hokitia and Darfield. The food was amazing and the people were so nice

No, unfortunately. The day we fly in to Christchurch, we drove straight to Kaikoura and the weather was so bad we thought about going back to Australia. It was very like Ireland at the time. Anyway the next day we went We were supposed to go out on a boat trip one day but the weather was too bad, they wouldnt let us on the boat.
