It is by God's grace that we are well and alive, that we heal from illnesses, that we have food on the table, that our children grow to make us proud, that we feel ok despite the problems we face every day. He is the only one who has never abandoned me and for that I have no words or actions to express what he trully means to me. wine

constanza... Only those who are aware of God's presence at work in their lives, who understand that it is His Grace that sees us through everything, through their own life experiences, Know and Understand the same as you, to your last sentence. His love is unfathomable and is our love for Him. Just unexplainable!

YOu are so Precious! angel

Looks like the thread fell apart.

BnaturAl, when you accomplishsomething, give yourself the credit.

When you don't achieve your desired goal, think about what you did wrong and correct it, or decide it's not for you, and move along.

It's your effort, not some mythical god's, that makes you who you are. Admit this to youself and your children if you want to feel good about yourself and if you want your children to,

You believe in the god that your country raises you to believe in. It goes back to your infancy and toddler time. That parent or older sibling is transferred by you to a god. You can't understand this because it happens at such an early age.

This is why kids can let to of Santa Claus, but not all-powerful beings who had complete control of them when they were infants and toddlers.

I respect everyone's right to believe what they want to belive, and I'm glad I live in a country where people are alllowed to do so, but I have no respect for religion. I can respect you if you do believe--and most of you do--but I don't respect your belief.

It's a hard thing to give up your god.

It is obvious from your writings, that you have no concept at all of the God of whom I KNOW. I will tell you, that I did not meet him until I was at the age of 36 years. He was not in my life while young. There was no love in my home, as a child. I had my turn to live my life as a wild desperado, and live it I did! One day, I met LOVE, in its purest form. I have never been the same since. I have a relationship with this LOVE, this invisable being. I would never think of giving Him up, nor He me. We are ONE. It is by His Grace that I am alive today and I Praise Him and give Him ALL GLORY!

This same LOVE is here for you also. But you must break, to find it.

I've read the bible, and started quetioning it when I was about 12 years old.

I've read several books by near-east scholars. The god you know I will never know, because it doesn't exist, but if it comforts you, may you find comofort in thid concept of a god.

All I ask is that you don't vote for congressmen and presidents who want to push their religion/spirituality/god-belief on the nation.

If it helps you to believe, more power to you, but please do not be one of those who thinks the world will be perrfect if you can convince everyone that your god is the rigfht one.

Respectfully,
Lickedeeslit

I think God is always there for me when I NEED HIM, BUT I also BELIEVE he won't DO anything for me that I CAN DO FOR MYSELF.

I'm slowly learning to turn the IMPOSSIBLE over to him.......
and get busy on the POSSIBLE.

Whom I vote for is my business. If you have read the bible and gained any understanding at all from it, in even the least bit, then you should know that I would not take the advice of man, over the advice of God. Who are you that you should tell me whom I should or should not vote for? I will listen to my God and Him alone. As for being His witness, He will put His words in my mouth at the proper time with individuals He chooses me to speak with. It is His choosing, in each opportunity, not mine. I do as my God instructs me, through His Holy Spirit, not the will of man.

The world will not be perfect until the new earth is fashioned. You forget, there are two forces battling on this planet. We battle not with flesh and blood, but with rulers, principalities, and powers of darkness in the unseen realm.

peace
