I've recently begun having actual voice conversations with some of the people I have been posting with some of the people of CS.

Oddly enough some people sound completely different than I would have imagined and others sound exactly as I expected....

So if we were to have a voice exchange what would that sound like?

What is your voice like? Do you think your voice is a good match to your posts [or personality]?

and lastly what kind of a voice would be a turn off or a turn on for you?

and as always, everyone is always welcome here....

I used to talk on the internet a lot in voice......most women find my voice extremely seductive which I found quite shocking at first - then it amused me that some people can be so impressed by an accent even if you talk a load of drivel!

There are some women who I found VERY attractive from the way they posted, but they sounded totally unattractive when I heard them speaking! However, I believe we can overcome our own inbuilt prejudices if we concentrate on the CONTENT rather than the presentation............ if you really like somebody first, do you really care what they look or sound like? This is how some new and maybe even long-lasting friendships are formed that would have never happened but for the internet!

What is totally awesome is when you get to know somebody on the internet and you have absolutely no idea what they look or sound like; then you get to see a picture and hear their voice and you are totally overcome (in a positive way).....then all you need to do is meet them 'in the flesh' and see if they feel and smell good too!

Most people say I sound much younger but I'm not sure whether that's a compliment or not.

I don't really like high pitched male voices, much prefer a gravelly 40 cigs a day voice!

I adore the speaking voices of Richard Burton and Anthony Hopkins, perhaps it's the Welsh lilt.

Well, I never - look you! So many dumb American women say I sound just like a combination of Ricahard Burton and Anthony Hopkins with a little bit of Sean Connery thrown in! (honestly, I am NOT kidding!)....it's very flattering but I do get a little bit embarrassed and have to then make those Anthony Hopkins little lip smacking 'Silence of the Lambs' noises which then make 'em feel all weak and queasy at the same time! dunno confused dancing

handshake

People who hear my voice on the phone say I sound very young for my age... but when I visit my mother, even close friends and relatives can never be sure who is on the phone! They all say that our voices sound absolutely the same - and my mom is 81! yay
Anyway, there is a perfect opportunity to hear each other's voices on Skype now, and there is a possibility of making conference calls there... it could be an alternative to CS meetings for those who cannot come to Malta or some other exotic places!

But the "presentation" could be what you're stuck with forever if things go further...

So a "40 sigs a day man-voice" for me as well... Leonard Cohen kind of voice... laugh
