I think it works a bit too well, people tend to become disposable commodities in the process which is a shame.

if not at least your meeting new people in a strange kinda way but if ya don't try nothing will happen just be happy and live life.
I think it is a good thing for people that otherwise would not meet people through work commitments, busy lifestyles or living in smaller areas....It can be a learning tool in conversing with people from other countrries and cultures that also can built ones communication skills and the way they perceive life...
It does seem to be the modern media of meeting people...funnily enough I try these sites but end up meeting someone through the good old fashion pub way...some friends have met with success and are now in stable internet relationships...so who can tell?
