Question? When does a girl cease to be a girl and become a woman? I have seen soooooooooooo many men's profiles seeking girls, I thought they wanted mature women with brains, wit and experience or is that just me?
I never paid much thought to it. I just figured it was an expression like when you say guys. I don't much care if I am called a women or girl I hate to be called mam. That just bugs me beyond belief.

Goodness Darlin,
I have met some of those seeking mommy guys believe me I do not want that.
And I know it is just a figure of speech , but honestly I have met some guys that say they are sick and tired of dating girls meaning young ones they don't have anything in common with them etc etc...then in the same breath say I won't date anyone over 29. Sheeshhhhhh!!!!!!
what I get a kick out of is you put it in your profile looking for someone say 35 to 45 and right away you emails and flowers from 65 years and up. I even got one I know had to be at least 60 and he said he was 41.

Oh i know I get a kick out of those to and those I especially love.........want a gal who is "open minded" and the guy is in a pic with a dress on.......... Sorry if I ever get that open minded my brains will fall out .
I am at that age that maam does not bother me, I am a maam.
Iam not sure if I would ever get use to being called maam. I don't think all of comes from the age part either. I don't know I just feel like I should be in the service or something when someone calls me maam

It is also a southern thang and a sign of respect , it really has nothing to do with age...if you were a young lady it would be Miss.

I always respect other women by saying Ms Mrs or Maam. I also believe it has to do with a younger than you're age so you can have fun but have some kind of thought process and not a robot.
Hello ladies... To answer your question Im not looking for a little girl. I have a daughter shes 10 going on 30. I believe its a matter of maturity rather than age. Being able to be secure in who you are and secure enough to be a "cute little girl" now and then but remain always a lady. Kinda like Im a grown man, I answer to "Sir" and expect a small amount of respect for my grey hairs. In turn I show the same respect to ladies, all ladies, but that doesnt mean I cant play a game of tag with someone, flirt like a school boy, or wrestle with the best of em. Just a matter of knowing when to play and when to be all grown up....
