I think personally that its not about women understanding men or men understanding women.....It learning to understand the person for who they are..whether they are man or women.....Life to me in general is a learning process form birth right thru to death....

Ive spent 50 years pondering this and still do not have a clue. I think thats why I enjoy them so much, women are magnificant and yet mysterious creatures to be admired and adored but never truely understood by us mear mortal men....

Not so much now days, but i think boys are bought up to have a macho image, making it hard to understand female emotions/feelings. maybe about how we are 'conditioned' by society

I agree that they should be understood as a person, not a a man or a woman, that being said, I dont think anyone will understand me!! I dont understand myself half the time!!

Yes but i don't think men can understand properly the physical things a women goes thro, like being pregnant, having baby etc

also the emotional things child birth etc can bring, feeling depressed after you have given birth, pmt, all can have an effect on our relationships, and many men are not aware of this or how to help there partner thro it .------ This thread is Archived ------

As i get older I realise that there are some things that are better dealt with between ourselves and our mothers and female friends and the childbirth/pms etc are some of them because the cannot understand it...although he should support his wife through it in the best way he possilby can.......yeah i cant get enough shoes so FM you can buy some for me anytime

i think if they are not open to trying to understand the emotional feelings there partner has they can't support you, because they won't know what they are supporting you thro. I think it is about being open about everything jmo
